Choose whether to create a row action or a header action, depending on your preference and specific use case.

2️⃣ Create the interaction from the interaction panel:

  • Select the target name: Choose the action you created in Step 1 from the list of available targets.

  • Select the type "Export To": This sets the interaction type to handle data export functionality.

  • Enter a Default File Name: Please provide a default file name for the exported file, which users can modify later if they'd like to.

  • Optional - Hide Export Dialog: If you prefer to streamline the process, you can remove the ability for the end-user to select the file format and encoding file type by hiding the export dialog.

  • Select the file format(s): Choose the file format(s) you'd like to make available for export, such as Excel, CSV, or both.

  • Define a Default Encoding File Type: Specify the default encoding file type for the exported data, ensuring compatibility with the user's preferred software.
