The "Export to" interaction is only available for the Avonni Data Table, enabling users to export entire data sets or selected data rows in Excel or CSV file formats. Following the steps outlined in this tutorial, you can implement this powerful feature, enhancing the user experience and functionality.
2️⃣ Create the interaction from the interaction panel:
Select the target name: Choose the action you created in Step 1 from the list of available targets.
Select the type "Export To": This sets the interaction type to handle data export functionality.
Enter a Default File Name: Please provide a default file name for the exported file, which users can modify later if they'd like to.
Optional - Hide Export Dialog: If you prefer to streamline the process, you can remove the ability for the end-user to select the file format and encoding file type by hiding the export dialog.
Select the file format(s): Choose the file format(s) you'd like to make available for export, such as Excel, CSV, or both.
Define a Default Encoding File Type: Specify the default encoding file type for the exported data, ensuring compatibility with the user's preferred software.
Following these simple steps, you can create an "Export to" interaction for your Data Table, empowering users to export data easily. This feature improves the overall user experience and allows users to efficiently analyze, share, or archive data outside Salesforce.
